Here are the details for two ongoing construction projects and one recently completed project in Lewisville and Coppell.

Ongoing projects:

1. Timberbrook Neighborhood Improvements Project

Lewisville’s Timberbrook neighborhood improvements project is near complete. It is anticipated to finish in April, City Engineer David Salmon said. The project’s scope includes reconstruction of concrete streets and sidewalks, installing new water and sewer lines, and increasing storm drainage capacity. Several streets received work including Sweet Gum Drive, Walnut Drive and Live Oak Drive. The Timberbrook project was identified as a top priority street project under the 2015 bond program, according to the city.

2. South Belt Line reconstruction

Construction crews continued concrete pours throughout March. The project, which runs from Southwestern Boulevard to I-635, includes the replacement of pavement with updated pavement, intersection enhancements to improve mobility and safety, signal work, sidewalks, streetlights, and landscaping.

3. Denton Tap Road Intersection Improvements

The Denton Tap Road Intersection project concluded in February. The two-year project consisted of construction of turn lanes, reconstruction of sidewalks and ramps and traffic signal work along four intersections –Parkway Boulevard, Southwestern Boulevard, Sandy Lake Road and Bethel School Road. The project was completed on time, according to the city.
