Medical City Lewisville is now offering emergency services in Flower Mound and surrounding communities.

The details

Medical City ER Flower Mound, a department of Medical City Lewisville, reopened July 13.

The facility is located at 4351 Long Prairie Road. It will provide full-service emergency care for adults, children and infants, according to a news release.

The nearly 10,600-square-foot facility has 12 private patient treatment rooms, two pediatric rooms, a dedicated trauma code room, a medical laboratory, and an imaging suite with X-ray, CT scans and ultrasound.


Medical City ER Flower Mound is open 24 hours every day.

The backstory

Medical City ER Flower Mound first opened in November 2009.

The clinic temporarily closed in March 2020 to better direct resources and staff during COVID-19 surges.

“We are pleased to be able to provide this high-quality, convenient and potentially lifesaving emergency care closer to home for the Flower Mound community, with seamless admission to Medical City Lewisville for inpatient services should a higher level of care or inpatient services be required,” Medical City Lewisville CEO John Walker said in a news release.

In recognition of the reopening, Medical City Lewisville donated $5,000 to the Cross Timbers Family YMCA.


The donation will go toward CPR training costs for Cross Timbers Family YMCA staff and volunteers.
