Coppell City Council members amended an interlocal agreement with Lewisville during a Feb. 11 meeting. The amendment enables Coppell to provide and bill a proposed facility expansion for sewer services, according to a staff memo.
The action comes a week after Lewisville City Council voted to amend the agreement. The property is split between both municipalities and the agreement has been in place since December 2019.
Coppell already provides sanitary sewer services for the development. The amendment extends those services to the proposed facility expansion.

The proposed expansion plans to add outdoor pickleball courts on nearly an acre of land adjacent to Vistara Sports. Company Founder Harish Reddy said they plan to add 11 courts and a restaurant to the site.
The site is zoned for light industrial development inside Lewisville city limits. Lewisville council members are expected to vote on a special use permit for the expansion at a future meeting.
