Coppell city online systems have experienced outages since Oct. 23, according to a city news release.

Phone lines, internet and digital systems have been impacted at multiple city facilities. Both internal and external experts are working to investigate the cause of the outage, bring these systems back online, and restore full functionality, officials said in the release.

“Thank you to our residents and community partners for your patience and grace as we work to restore our systems,” City Manager Mike Land stated in the release. “Our teams are working diligently 24/7 to get this resolved. In the meantime, we’ve remained flexible and have adapted how we’re providing service to ensure we’re meeting the community’s needs.”

The details

  • Service requests from the city website
  • Municipal court trial dates and citation payments
  • GIS maps
  • Online group exercise classes at the CORE fitness center

Also of note

While many online services have been impacted, some—those hosted by third-party servers—remain available, including program registration on Coppell ActiveNet. City departments have temporarily adjusted their processes to continue to serve the community.

Emergency calls are not impacted and will be connected to the city dispatch team, per the news release. Early voting is also not impacted. Dallas County residents can continue to vote at Town Center during polling times.

Residents can find information about how to conduct business with the city here, until these systems are restored.
