Lewisville staff have posted an online survey to gauge residents' feelings about the effectiveness of city programs.

Lewisville residents are encouraged to participate in the 2024 Resident Satisfaction Survey that will be used to assess current programs and the level of public demand for potential new or revised programs, according to a city news release.

The details

The survey was posted online Aug. 30 and will be available through Sept. 13.

Taking part in the survey will help city officials determine how residents feel about current and potential city services, identify areas where additional attention might be needed and work to improve services provided.

Residents will be asked to gauge satisfaction with the city’s diversity, public schools, art and culture, affordability, recreational opportunities and more. They will also be asked some questions about their knowledge of city taxes.

Residents can take part in the survey in English here and in Spanish here.

Also of note

This survey is part of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan, which can be viewed online.

The city is looking to increase its public engagement efforts ahead of its 100-year centennial celebration that is planned for 2025, City Manager Clair Powell wrote in an Aug. 5 letter.

The celebration will commemorate Lewisville's history while fostering a sense of community pride and engagement. This event will be a year-long celebration consisting of performances and events, a time capsule ceremony, tree-planting initiatives and more, Powell wrote.
