Lewisville and Coppell administrative offices will be closed Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day.

Along with city office closures, both cities will close several public facilities, according to city websites.

Other closures in Lewisville include the Fred Herring Parks & Recreation Center, the Lewisville Public Library and the Lewisville Grand Theater.

A community engagement meeting about upgrading the playground at Wayne Frady Park is still on schedule. The Parks and Recreation Department will be on-site for resident feedback between 10 a.m. and noon.


What else?

In addition to city offices, the following Coppell facilities will be closed Sept. 2:The CORE fitness center will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. with the outdoor pool open from 1-7 p.m.

What's next?

Essential services, trash and recycling service will run as regularly scheduled for both cities. All offices and facilities will resume normal operating hours Sept. 3, according to city websites.
