Individuals wanting to learn more about ongoing and upcoming major projects in Coppell are welcome to do so during a scheduled town hall meeting for the fiscal year 2024-25 budget.

Coppell officials will also take feedback from the public on which projects individuals would like to see included in the upcoming budget during the April 4 town hall meeting. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and take place within the council chambers at Coppell Town Center, which is located at 255 Parkway Blvd.

What you need to know

City staff are already engaging in the city’s annual budget process, according to a news release about the town hall. The town hall meeting is an additional forum where residents can ask questions about projects budgeted for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

“The budget town hall is one of the many important opportunities for residents to connect with city staff to let us know how we can best serve you to ensure we’re being good stewards of public funds,” Budget Officer Jesica Almendarez said.

Almendarez added that the April 4 town hall is the kickoff event for the city’s budget season, which will continue in subsequent briefings to council over the coming months. Interested individuals can learn more about the budget on the city’s website.
