Coppell City Council approved the authorization for the items to allow them to arrive within the construction schedule, according to city documents.

The $604,895 expenditure for the electrical components was the next step in the funding of Fire Station No. 5, per city documents. The generator and switchgear for the station are expected to take at least 12 months to be delivered to the city.

Also funded within the initial funding is the demolition of a structure at 157 S. Moore Road, which is the future home of Fire Station No. 5.


Reimbursement for the initial construction costs will occur through a resolution approved in April 2022, per city documents.
