Three publicly accessible warming centers will be open in Lewisville this holiday weekend as the city activates its Code Blue program.

The declaration activates portions of the city’s emergency management plan. The warming centers will be open starting at 10 a.m. Jan. 12 through Jan. 17. The warming shelters are open to anyone who needs to use them.
- Lewisville Public Library, 1197 W. Main St.
- The Vista (Formerly Music City Mall), 2401 S. Stemmons Freeway
- The Salvation Army Lewisville, 880 Fox Ave.
The Lewisville Public Library is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 12-13. The location will close at 5 p.m. on Jan. 13 and will not be open on Jan. 14-15. It will reopen at 9 a.m. on Jan. 16.
The Vista will close at 7 p.m. on Jan. 13 and reopen from noon-6 p.m. on Jan. 14 and be operational 11 a.m.-7 p.m. from Jan. 15-17.
The Salvation Army will be open 24/7 during the duration of the local state of emergency notice.

Lewisville Public Library
- Beverages in containers with lids are permitted in the library except at public-use computers and electronic equipment.
- No alcohol is allowed.
- Food may be consumed only in the downstairs lobby near the West entrance, or when provided during library programs.
- Weapons are allowed as long as the person is in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Pets are allowed on a leash.
- Outside food and beverages are allowed.
