The city of Coppell is seeking applicants for vacant youth adviser positions on its Parks and Recreation Board.

Applications are due to the city by Oct. 20, according to a news release, and can be found on the city’s website. The new deadline represents an extension from the original Oct. 1 deadline.

Two-minute impact

Applicants must be current seventh through 11th grade students who reside within Coppell and attend Coppell ISD schools, per the news release. Appointees to the Parks and Recreation Board are responsible for making recommendations on the development of parks and recreation facilities as well as advising the Coppell Community Experiences Department.
