In observance of Labor Day on Sept. 4, several Coppell facilities have announced closures.

However, trash and recycling pickup will still proceed as regularly scheduled, according to an email distributed by the city.

What’s happening?

The city’s administrative offices and the following other facilities will be closed Sept. 4:

• The Cozby Library and Community Commons
• The Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs
• Biodiversity Education Center
• Coppell Animal Services
• Coppell Municipal Court
• The Coppell Arts Center

Normal operating hours for the above facilities and offices will resume Sept. 5. Other facilities will be open on the holiday, the email said:

• The CORE, which will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
• The CORE’s outdoor pool, which will be open from 1-7 p.m.
• Wagon Wheel Tennis Center, which will be open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
