Lewisville’s Old Town Holiday Stroll is an all-day, family-friendly event in partnership with the Main & Mill Association. The Old Town Holiday Stroll’s schedule includes breakfast with Santa, the motorcycle toy run, the Huffines Christmas Parade, a scavenger hunt and a tree lighting ceremony. 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Prices vary. The city of Coppell will kick the holiday season off during its Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting event. The parade will feature floats built by local groups and businesses, and the three best decorated floats will be decided. The parade route will begin on Samuel Boulevard, travel north to Parkway Boulevard and then west to Andrew Brown Park East, where the tree lighting ceremony will take place. 6-9 p.m. Free. Theatre Coppell presents “A Little House Christmas” based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. In this holiday production, the Ingalls family is happy and warm in their little house. As the children are out of school for the Christmas holidays, everyone is keeping secrets about the presents they are giving, according to the play’s online description. The production will run from Dec. 2-18. 8 p.m. (Dec. 3), 2:30 p.m. (Dec. 4). $22 plus fees for adults; $19 plus fees for seniors and students. The musical stylings of HarpEssence’s four concert grand harps will be played during its holiday concert. Tickets are not required for this event sponsored by the Cozby Library and Community Commons.
