Voters in Lewisville and Coppell can cast their ballot for a number of local, state and federal elections during the Nov. 5 election.

What you need to know

In Denton County, voters must vote at their assigned polling location. Voters can find their precincts here. For a full list of voting locations, visit www.votedenton.gov.

Dallas County residents can cast their votes at any of the over 400 voting centers countywide, according to the county elections website. For a full list of voting locations, as well as updates on wait times at each location, visit www.dallascountyvotes.org/vote-centers.

Polling locations are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Election Day.


On the ballot

Ballots will feature several federal and state races, as well as county races, which include:
  • Denton County Constable, Precinct 6
  • Denton County Constable, Precinct 1
  • Denton County Sheriff
Residents of Coppell ISD’s coverage area will also consider one proposition regarding a voter-approval tax rate election.

What to bring when voting


Registered voters need any one of the following approved IDs to vote:
  • Texas driver's license
  • Texas election ID certificate
  • Texas personal ID card
  • Texas handgun license
  • U.S. military ID card with photo
  • U.S. citizenship certification with photo
  • U.S. passport
