Candidates for Lewisville ISD and Lewisville City Council will take part in the event from 6-8:30 p.m. at the chamber’s building located at 551 N. Valley View Parkway.
According to the chamber, nine of the 10 invited candidates have confirmed they would be there, as of April 8. The election is set for May 4.
The details
There will be three candidates there vying for two spots on the LISD board: Buddy Bonner, a District 6 at-large uncontested candidate, and Michelle Alkhatib and Allison Lassahn, both running in District 1.
The city of Lewisville will have two positions up for election: mayor and council Place 2. Alexander Davis, TJ Gilmore, Winston Edmondson and Tiffany Karim are running for mayor. William J. Meridith, Ainsley Stelling and Penny Mallet are Place 2 candidates.
