Michelle Alkhatib and Staci Barker have been elected to three-year terms serving on the Lewisville ISD board of trustees, according to unofficial results from the May 6 general election.
Alkhatib was elected to Place 6 on the board, receiving 9,113 votes, or about 55.27%. Her opponent Mindy Bumgarner has received 7,375 votes, or about 44.73%.
Barker was elected to Place 7, receiving 7,080 votes, or about 44.35% of votes across Denton County and Tarrant County. Jacob Anderson has received 4,791 votes, or about 30.01% of votes. Ashley Jones has received 4,094 votes, or about 25.64% of votes.
All of Denton County's 236 precincts have reported and all of Tarrant County's 169 precincts have reported.
Alkhatib and Barker could not be reached for comment.

Alkhatib leads the race for Place 6 on the board receiving 8,057 votes, or about 55.39%. Mindy Bumgarner has received 6,490 votes, or about 44.61%.
Barker leads the race for Place 7 receiving 6,280 votes, for about 44.61% of votes across Denton County and Tarrant County. Jacob Anderson has received 4,231 votes for about 30.05%. Ashley Jones has received 3,567 votes for about 25.34%.
Denton County has 151 precincts reporting while Tarrant County has 52 precincts reporting.
