Restaurant chain Hooters announced nationwide store closures, 16 of which are located in Texas.

Hooters made the decision to close underperforming stores under the pressure of current market conditions, according to a company statement. The Lewisville location, located along Stemmons Freeway, closed along with stores in downtown Fort Worth and Arlington.

“This brand of 41 years remains highly resilient and relevant," according to a statement from Hooters. “We look forward to continuing to serve our guests at home, on the go and at our restaurants here in the U.S. and around the globe.”

The company did not provide a date for the Lewisville store closure, but the location has been removed from the company’s website.
