A renovated park in the city of Lewisville is now open in the Castle Hills area.

Almsbury Park was a $435,509 project that started on Oct. 23. The project added new playground equipment with slides, swings and climbing features. There are structures for both younger and older children, according to city staff. Shade structures with tables and benches as well as fencing was added to the Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant park. It is one of 15 neighborhood parks in the Castle Hills area, and work was paid for by the Castle Hills Capital Improvements Program, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
