Coppell voters will have the opportunity to hear from candidates April 4.

The Coppell Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum at Dallas College Coppell Center. Attendees will have the chance to meet the candidates for both Coppell City Council and Coppell ISD board of trustees. Each candidate will be given five minutes to speak, followed by a Q&A with attendees. Candidate attendance is subject to their availability, according to the chamber.

The event is free, but attendees must reserve their seats. Coffee, juice and light breakfast foods will be provided.

Coppell ISD will have six candidates on the ballot for the May 6 general election. Five candidates are on the ballot for council, but only one race will be contested.

The last day to register to vote in the election is April 6. Early voting will run from April 24 to May 2. The last day to apply to vote by mail is April 25.
