Big Saving Appliance

A new discount appliance store, Big Saving Appliance, is now open in Lewisville.

The store sells a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges and more, company staff said. Customers can shop from several brands including GE, LG and Whirlpool, according to the business’s website.


The Lewisville location is the third in North Texas with others in Plano and Arlington.King Ramen and Dumpling

King Ramen and Dumpling is now open in Lewisville in the business park near Costco, according to company staff.

The restaurant serves a wide selection of noodle dishes, soup dumplings and bao buns and is equipped with a boba tea bar, a hibachi grill and a robot food runner.

The menu includes noodle dishes like garlic tonkotsu, a garlic pork bone broth topped with sliced pork, egg, bamboo shoots, green onion and bean sprouts. It also offers soup dumplings and bao buns filled with either beef, pork, chicken, veggies, red bean paste and other options. Guests can also order rice dishes, soups and desserts.

Pizza Twist

Pizza Twist is now open for business at The Realm at Castle Hills in Lewisville, a store representative said.

The restaurant serves pizzas that are fully customizable with more than 30 different topping options, according to its website. The menu also includes vegan, gluten-free, and halal options. In addition to pizza, the restaurant serves wings, pasta and salad, according to its website.Coming soon

Singas Pizza


Singas Pizza in Coppell is expected to open its doors later in 2025, said Operations Director Enrique Almela.

It typically takes three months to open a new restaurant but it's also dependent on the permitting process, Almela said. Coppell City Council approved zoning for the new restaurant during a Jan. 14 meeting.

The pizza brand, which has multiple locations across the U.S., serves a variety of hand-made pizzas, wings, salads, sandwiches and pastas, according to its website. Food is made to order and pizzas feature a crunchy crust, Almela said.The Learning Experience

A project was filed last November with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for construction of the new center at an estimated cost of $3.5 million. The completion date is scheduled for July 1, according to the filing.


The center offers education services for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Educators employ a hands-on curriculum, which strives to foster independence while developing children intellectually, socially and cognitively. This allows children to engage in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development, according to the company website.

The company also has a center in the Castle Hills area of Lewisville.Closed

Crazy Deals

Crazy Deals, a liquidation bin sales store in Lewisville, is temporarily closed, according to the company’s social media.


The company, which opened last June, offers overstock and return products, including electronics, clothing, home decor, beauty items and more. In January, the company had to temporarily close due to a burst pipe that caused interior damage, according to the company’s social media.

According to the post the shop plans to reopen after the damages are repaired.Star Dealz

Discount surplus store Star Dealz has closed its doors in Lewisville.

The locks on the business were changed as a result of the tenant defaulting on the lease, according to a posted notice by the property landlord’s legal representative, First Commercial Realty. The interior of the store and its merchandise are disassembled.

The business specialized in selling discounted merchandise through bin sales, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The company sources overstock items and returns from major retailers like Amazon and inventory will change frequently and include a wide range of products.
