Coppell City Council members approved a zoning change Jan. 14 to allow the restaurant to open in a 4,618-square-foot space at the shopping center. The restaurant is expected to provide dine-in and carry-out services and operate 7 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week.
The building will remain the same except for the addition of a drive-thru area around the north side of the building, said Senior Planner Mary Paron-Boswell. The proposed drive-thru is 10-feet wide and 200-feet long and additional trees will be planted onsite, she said.
Before the vote, Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Nevels said he was excited to see brands like Jason’s Deli coming to Coppell.
“I know I’m personally very excited to welcome them to town,” he said.
