The Lewisville City Council approved a special use permit for Green Valley Products in the Bison Grove Business Park.

The new business is a manufacturer of spray foam insulation that is used in residential and commercial building projects, according to city documents. According to its website, Green Valley Products creates high-performing, ultra-stable spray foam products to meet the increasing demands of energy codes, storage and transportation.

A special use permit is required for a light industrial zoning district and it was first approved by the city's Planning Department on May 7. Council approved the permit during the May 20 meeting.
