Dallas ISD is offering free meals throughout the winter break to all children age 18 and younger.

The meals and snacks will be offered at one of 18 schools in the district during a select meal service time over three days: Dec. 22, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4. The meal will consist of two breakfasts and/or two lunches served in a to-go format, according to district officials. Meals are served while supplies last with preparation instructions found here.

Participating schools giving out meals from 8-9 a.m. include Dade Middle School, Roosevelt High School, Martinez Elementary School, Medrano Junior High School, Skyline High School and South Oak Cliff High School. Meals will also be given out from 10-11 a.m. at six other schools: Kimball High School, Long Middle School, Marcus Leadership Academy, Molina High School, Tasby Middle School and Spruce High School.

In the afternoon, participants can pick up meals at six schools from noon-1 p.m., including Benjamin Franklin International Exploratory Academy, Carter High School, Pinkston High School, Seagoville Middle School, Truett Elementary School and White High School.
