Previously projected to open in August, the cafe is now expected to open Oct. 1, said Charlie Paulette, vice president of sales and marketing. The Lakewood space, which will be the coffee company’s fifth Dallas location, will open at 4124 Abrams Road, Dallas.
Merit Coffee sources fresh coffee from over 30 countries and roasts it with its custom-built German roaster in San Antonio, according to its website. In addition to its cafes, the company sells coffee at Whole Foods and Central Market stores throughout Texas.
