Black Sheep Coffee, a U.K.-based coffee chain, has delayed the opening of its first U.S. coffee shop.

The cafe is expected to open in Lakewood at 6240 E. Mockingbird Lane. It was originally projected to open by the end of June, but a company spokesperson said it had to resubmit a permitting request with the city of Dallas due to design changes. An exact date for the opening has not been set, but the spokesperson said the goal is to open by the end of September.

Black Sheep serves a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies and shakes along with Norwegian waffle snacks and packaged coffee beans. The company has locations in the U.K., France and the Philippines. https://leavetheherdbehind.com
