Cade Branch Trail is a 12-foot-wide trail that will start in the cul-de-sac on Newcastle Street in the Briarwyck Subdivision and follow the Trinity River Authority easement under Highway 114 in Roanoke before turning west at Holley Parkway. The trail will be complete from Newcastle Street to Blythe Bridge Drive in December. The city of Roanoke is awaiting approval from the Texas Department of Transportation to work on the right of way of SH 114. After TxDOT gives the city the green light, work crews will continue the trail from the north side of Hwy 114, under the bridges to Holley Parkway and Cannon Parkway. Roanoke officials said they hope to complete the rest of the trail in early 2020.
