Stepping Stones Foundation is relocating its thrift boutique from 139 Taylor St. to 131 Taylor St. in Old Town Keller. The new location is 1,910 square feet that will offer the foundation more room to conduct business and accept donations.

According to their website, Stepping Stones Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving youth in crisis throughout North Texas by providing basic human necessities such as food, shelter and clothing all the while helping to fulfill emotional needs such as significance, connection and self-worth in order to help at-risk youth make positive life choices.

Through the thrift boutique, the foundation accepts private donations of gently used clothing, accessories, home decor, purses and jewelry Tuesday to Saturday. According to their website, while items at the boutique are for sale to the general public, hundreds of children from Keller and the surrounding region are able to shop for free year-round. The boutique is staffed by volunteers.

“No one in the organization is paid,” founder Christina Bynum-Breaux said. “We’re all volunteer based. We’re here to do it for the children, and every penny goes back to them.”
