Frios Gourmet Pops at 242 Rufe Snow Drive, Ste. 150, Keller, is closing its storefront, according to a Facebook post by co-owner Alison Groom on April 27. In the video announcement, Groom said she sold the business to Lauren Penn, who is the owner of Frios Gourmet Pops in Denton. So while the Keller storefront is closing, Groom said the shop’s van will be "all over town" serving pops in Keller, Southlake, Roanoke, Argyle, Trophy Club and Westlake.

Frios Gourmet Pops serves a variety of frozen popsicles. After about three years in business at the Keller storefront, Groom said the decision was made because she and her family are in a “very busy” chapter of their lives.

“We are just grateful beyond measure that we made it three years,” Groom said. “We love this business. We love our storefront. We love this city. This is a city we grew up in, and we're now raising our kids in. And it's been near and dear to us to have a business here.”

Groom said the storefront will be open for about two more weeks, but she has not yet announced a date when the storefront will officially close. 682-593-8183. www.friospops.com
