Fort Worth officials have extended the deadline for residents and other stakeholders to fill out a survey that will help shape the future of the city’s recreational spaces.

  • Enhancing the overall park system
  • Identifying land for future parkland and facilities
  • Improving existing parks and recreational facilities
  • Creating new parks, amenities and programming

According to the news release, a key component of the community engagement process is the development of a survey. It was created in collaboration with National Service Research and is available in both English and Spanish.

The news release states that previously the survey closed Jan. 1, but that deadline has been extended to Jan. 31.
