Karen Brennan won a three-person race for Place 3 on the Keller City Council.
The special election wrapped up on Aug. 31 and Brennan garnered more than 73% of the votes, avoiding a runoff election.
Frank Roszell and Zane J. Kupper also vied for the spot that became open when Jessica Juarez resigned on May 31. Her unexpired term runs through May 2025.
Unofficial results show Brennan winning with 1,632 votes, or 73.09%. Kupper took second with 471 votes, or 21.09%. Roszell was third with 130 votes, or 5.82%.
Overall, 2,237 votes were cast out of 35,608 registered voters in Keller, or 6.28%, according to county data.

Tarrant County Election Administration has released early voting totals for a special election for Place 3 on Keller City Council on Aug. 31.

Karen Brennan, Frank Roszell and Zane J. Kupper are vying for the spot. Place 3 became open when Jessica Juarez resigned on May 31. Her unexpired term runs through May 2025.
Unofficial results show Brennan leading with 1,231 votes, or 72.6%. Kupper is second with 351 votes, or 20.6% and Roszell is third with 113 votes, or 6.6%.
Roszell and Kupper both ran for Place 2 during the May 4 election, ultimately won by Greg Will.

In-person voting occurred at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway, with early voting running from Aug. 14-27.
