Four Tarrant County Community College Board of Trustees seats were on the ballot on May 1.

For District 1, incumbent Teresa M. Ayala was re-elected for another term with over 78% of the votes over challenger Jeremy Sixtos. Ayala was first elected to the board in 2015.

For District 2, challenger Shannon Wood ousted incumbent Conrad Heede with over 66% of the votes. Wood is an executive sales representative and lives in Keller.

For District 3, Jeannie Deakyn won with 75% of the votes over Stephen Chacko with 25% of the votes. Deakyn is the vice president of a company and resides in Arlington.

For District 5, no candidate received 50% of the votes. Incumbent Leonard Hornsby received 31.44% of the votes. Challengers Sherry R. McCulloch and Christi Clanton received 37.18% and 31.38% of the votes, respectively.
