Northwest ISD will remain closed Friday, Jan. 30 due to poor road conditions, according to the latest district announcement.
The details
The district will remain closed out of an abundance of caution for families and district staff, according to a district social media post.
"Much of [the remaining] ice continues to pool throughout parking lots and sidewalks and is likely to refreeze," the post states. "Roads used by a large number of buses also remain in poor conditions."
