Community members will have an opportunity to help Keller ISD students hone their job interview skills.

Keller ISD's Career and Technical Education Department will host student mock interviews Oct. 4 and 5. Organizers are looking for volunteers to interview high school seniors and help them prepare for future career opportunities.

According to a district news release, volunteers can sign up online to complete the CTE mock interviews volunteer interest form. District officials are looking for volunteers who are:
  • Business professionals
  • People who have conducted employment interviews in the past
  • Volunteers wanting to help students develop their skills

Volunteers are asked to help for a three-hour period, interviewing six students who are working to hone their professional skills, according to the news release. All interviews will be conducted in person at the Keller Center for Advanced Learning at 201 Bursey Road.


The news release stated each day will have a morning session from 8-11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from noon-2:30 p.m. Volunteers are invited to sign up for one or multiple sessions. District staff will provide volunteers with sample questions, an assessment tool and other support items.
