Spring is in full swing and that means it’s perfect patio weather. We’ve come up with a list of six restaurants that have patios just waiting to fill your al fresco dining needs.

Keller

1. Keller Tavern—This Old Town Keller fixture has an outdoor patio that can seat 100 guests and features a stage for live music, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The Tavern Buffalo bites is a signature item that has been a staple on the menu since day one, owner Lindsey DeWalt said. So have the charro beans that Bertha, the head cook, churns out as a side item or as an item by themselves upon request.

“Street tacos are new [to our menu] and are very popular. Bertha also makes homemade tamales every Tuesday that are a huge hit,” DeWalt said.

Keller Tavern hosts open mic on Sunday nights, music bingo on Monday nights and trivia on Tuesday nights.2. The Pour Shack—Just down the street in Old Town Keller, The Pour Shack has a patio where guests can snack on bar food such as burgers, pizza and sandwiches to go with signature cocktails, wine and beer. Live music is featured on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, according to the venue’s website.Roanoke


3. Baja Cantina—Located in Roanoke, dubbed The Unique Dining Capital of Texas, Baja Cantina’s patio faces Oak Street, which features many other dining hotspots in town. The menu features classic Mexican favorites such as taco, enchiladas and fajitas and also includes specialties such as parrillada, carnitas and rusticos.4. Catch 22 Sports Grill—The sports bar and grill opened in the former Anderson Distillery location in the summer of 2024, adding itself to a roster of more than 60 restaurants in Roanoke, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The patio also faces Oak Street, where diners can enjoy traditional sports bar fare in the fresh air. The weekend brunch menu includes breakfast tacos, pancake, cinnamon rolls and features a bloody mary cocktail called “The Hail Mary.”North Fort Worth

5. HG SPLY—The restaurant in Alliance Town Center, which features a large outdoor dining area, is the fourth location in DFW. According to previous Community Impact reporting, the menu features salmon poke tacos, campfire chicken ranch salad, curried sweet potato soup and more.

“HG stands for ‘hunted and gathered.' A lot of our stuff is very unique. It’s extremely healthy for you,” UNCO Director of Culinary Jacob Lyall said.6. Truck Yard— A 2-acre lot that offers live music, a full bar and a rotating list of food trucks, including Truck Yard’s own cheesecake and nacho truck. The venue features:
  • 7,500 square feet of interior space
  • Outdoor eating space and gaming area
  • Dog park
  • Ferris wheel
This is the fourth location, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Other locations include Dallas, Houston and The Colony.
