In a nutshell
Officials from the City of Keller, along with members of the Greater Keller Chamber, came out to help celebrate the ground breaking. As part of the ceremony, Mayor Pro Tem Ross McMullin talked about that when city staff surveyed residents about what they wanted to see more of in Keller, locals responded they wanted more restaurants.
“At the top of the list was to make sure that if we’re using incentives for economic development, that they’re for high-quality restaurants,” McMullin said. “We can’t think of any better example that meets residents' expectations for bringing in new businesses, exciting businesses and experiential businesses to our town than Te'jun.”
A closer look
The Reids closed on the property one year ago to the date, and Joe said he expects the restaurant to be open June 1, 2025. He added that when customers come in to eat at Te'jun, it should feel like they’re coming home.
“We always wanted Te'jun to be family,” Joe said. “You know how much fun you have when you open the [door] and all your friends are there? That’s what I want Te'jun to be.”
Like the other two restaurants, this location is near water—a pond backs up to the property—where patrons will be able to enjoy outdoor dining on a patio. The installation of a dock is also planned.
