According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Italian Table will open early next year in Keller’s Center Stage development.

The specifics

The TDLR website states Italian Table is owned by Phil Doko, who is the restaurateur behind Lone Star Cafe in Arlington. The restaurant’s Facebook page states Doko’s family has been in the restaurant industry for more than 40 years and has 15 restaurants, including Lone Star Cafe.

A closer look

The Center Stage Planned Development was approved in January 2020 by the Keller city council as a 38-acre mixed-use development that has a variety of residential and commercial uses in a phased approach. The proposed development plans included:

• A regulating plan
• Concept plan
• Street plan
• Parks and open space plan

While The Lyric, an apartment complex with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments is the largest component of the development so far, several new commercial tenants have moved in during the past year. They include Airys Family Dentistry, Hungry Howie’s Pizza and Rumble Boxing.
