Nothing Bundt Cakes opened in Fort Worth April 17 and the owners and staff will hold grand opening activities May 16 through 18.

About the owners

Husband and wife team Shaun and Sadie Smith said in an email that this is their fourth Nothing Bundt Cake franchise where they offer flavorful bundt cakes with the brand’s signature cream cheese frosting.

The Smith’s other locations are in Irving, Hurst-North Richland Hills and Alliance.

“We decided to open in the North Fort Worth/Elizabethtown area because of the population’s rapid growth,” Sadie said. “Our passion is to bring joy to this community and each one of our guests, and we are committed to being a huge part of the community by building strong connections.”

What it offers

Most cake purchases are made for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, teachers’ gifts and holidays.

“You can celebrate life’s special moments with hand-decorated cakes for any occasion,” Shaun said. “Each recipe only uses the purest ingredients, and we offer a variety of different flavors and sizes.”

Flavors include red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, confetti, carrot and lemon in 8-inch or 10-inch sizes and tiered cakes. Bundtlets, which are individually packaged personal cakes, plus Bundtinis, which are smaller cakes that can be purchased by the dozen, will also be available.

Grand opening activities include a ribbon cutting on May 16 and Community Storehouse Benefit Day on May 17. Community Storehouse is a local nonprofit that supports local underserved children. On May 18, the first 50 guests will receive a punch card for free Bundtlets for a year. Following the first 50 guests, free confetti Bundtlets will be given to attendees while supplies last.
