The Dallas-based development company, Hillwood, is constructing two new buildings to be used as industrial space at AllianceTexas.

Construction for the two facilities is expected to start in September.

The details

The two new Class A buildings will be designed for modern logistics and manufacturing users, according to a news release from Hillwood, and will benefit from direct access to major transportation infrastructure.

Alliance Westport 15 is a 798,494 square-foot facility that will have access to Intermodal Parkway, FM 156, Perot Field and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway’s Alliance intermodal facility. It will have loading bays and a cross-dock with truck courts.

Alliance Gateway 34 is a 310,036 square-foot facility that will be between US 377 and SH 170. The facility will have loading bays and a rear-load configuration with a 190-foot truck. This building will also have about 2,500 square-foot of office space, LED lighting, and warehouse power and dock door packages so that a customer can occupy the space as soon as construction is completed.

“Demand at AllianceTexas remains strong among top-tier logistics and manufacturing users,” Bill Burton, executive vice president of Hillwood, said in the news release. “Maintaining a pipeline of high-quality speculative space is essential to supporting both new and existing customers.”
