A six-story, 221-room hotel is planned to be constructed near Grapevine Mills, per a TDLR filing. Sandman Signature Hotels offer Canadian hospitality, comfort and style according to their website. A company spokesperson said Northland Properties closed on the 5.9-acre site in August.

Providence Church in Frisco has purchased a 27-acre site for a new sanctuary, according to its website. The 61,645-square-foot facility will be constructed along Panther Creek Parkway, according to the TDLR filing.

Allen ISD will be doing interior renovations for Green Elementary School, per a TDLR filing. The elementary school is planned to see mechanical system upgrades, new learning spaces, playground equipment repair and general facility upgrades as part of a 2024 bond, according to the district. The district most recently re-opened Anderson Early Childhood School after renovations over the summer, per previous reporting.
