The expansion connects the pedestrian trail between Rapp Road and Bear Creek Parkway on the east side of Whitley, providing walkers, runners and cyclists a safer path to Bear Creek Park. The $283,800 project began in May and includes a 10-foot trail from where the existing sidewalk ends outside the West Park neighborhood. The trail also provides easier access to Old Town Keller, according to city officials.
