Fort Worth Water, the Tarrant Regional Water District and M&M Irrigation & Illumination are partnering to provide a free sprinkler system evaluation to Fort Worth homeowners ahead of the summer watering season.

According to a city press release, the purpose of the evaluation is to increase sprinkler efficiency and reduce water waste. The evaluations will take place in March and April.

Evaluations are for water conservation education. They will not be used to determine if residents have system issues, and repairs will not be made, according to the press release.

Other stipulations include the following:
  • This campaign is limited to the first 200 requests.
  • Residents with a Fort Worth water utility account and an in-ground automatic sprinkler system can apply.
  • Residents must not have had a sprinkler system evaluation through Fort Worth Water in the past.
