Fossil Creek Tree Farm moves to Keller

Fossil Creek Tree Farm will have a new home.

Keller City Council unanimously voted during its Aug. 20 meeting for the business to move from its Fort Worth location to 600 N. Main St. in Keller.

City council granted Fossil Creek Tree Farm a Special Use Permit for the business to move to the space formerly occupied by McDonnell Hardware & Feed at the Johnson Road intersection. The permit allows Fossil Creek Tree Farm to set up a commercial retail nursery with storage on 2.43 acres of a 6.88-acre lot.

Owners Terra and Josh Richards said in a social media post they are working on a timeline for their grand reopening in Keller. They moved out of their Fort Worth property, located at 7744 Blue Mound Road, on July 31.

Along with trees, plants and landscaping materials, the business has a retail shop named The Haven on site and online, which sells home decor, gifts, gourmet food, kitchenware and pottery.
