A groundbreaking for the location was held on Nov. 16, 2022 with plans to open in the first half of 2024, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
The San Antonio-based company will debut its fifth store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area—a week after a groundbreaking for a new location in Prosper.
The Alliance location is a 128,650-square-foot building at the corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and North Riverside Drive. There will be a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, an outdoor essentials department, a True Texas BBQ restaurant bakery, a deli, fresh sushi and daily hand-made tortillas. The store will offer curbside and home delivery.
H-E-B held a hiring event earlier this year, seeking 500 employees.
