Bazooka Charlie’s Barber Co. is set to open in Fort Worth at the beginning of March, according to the store’s Facebook post. The store will be the fourth location for the company and is set at 7102 Blue Mound Road. There are other locations in Roanoke, Keller and North Richland Hills.

Bazooka Charlie’s Barber Co. offers haircuts, shaves and various grooming services for men, women and children.

“We are thrilled to bring a new level of barbering services to the Fort Worth community,” owner Justin Goehring wrote on the store’s Facebook post. “Our goal is to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where customers can receive top-notch grooming services.”

The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free product samples and haircuts, per the store’s Facebook. However, an exact date for the opening day has not been set.

Bazooka Charlie’s Barber Co. was named after Lt. Col. Charles Carpenter who flew a Piper L-4 Grasshopper, referred to as Rosie the Rocketer, with bazookas attached to its wings. Carpenter is credited for taking out two German tanks and numerous armored cars during World War II. Bazooka Charlie’s Barber Co. is operated in his honor, according to the company website. https://bazookacharlies.com
