The nonprofit is currently headquartered at 4005 Campus Drive in Fort Worth. The move will allow the agency to expand its services, according to a news release.
The 2.28-acre campus will include two side-by-side buildings. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the renovations are estimated to cost more than $3.95 million and are expected to be finished in August 2022.
With the new facility, Goodwill North Central Texas expects to hire an additional 56 full-time employees “to run new programs” and serve an additional 35,000 people throughout the first five years, the release stated.
The nonprofit held a “wall smashing” event Nov. 11 to kick off the remodeling. 817-332-7866. www.goodwillnorthcentraltexas.org
