Due to the resignation of Gary Fawks, Southlake City Council called a special election for Sept. 9, to elect a new Place 6 council member with a term to expire May 2020. Today, early voting for the Southlake City Council Place 6 election began. Early voting will end Sept. 5.

Early voting will be conducted at Southlake Town Hall in the 3rd floor training rooms for both Tarrant and Denton County Southlake residents. Southlake Town Hall is located at 1400 Main St., Southlake.

Early voting times are as follows:

  • Aug. 23-25: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

  • Aug. 26-27 : closed

  • Aug. 28-31: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

  • Sept. 1: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

  • Sept. 2: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

  • Sept. 3-4: closed

  • Sept. 5: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.


On election day, early voting will be held from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at Southlake Town Hall in the 3rd floor training rooms for Tarrant and Denton County Southlake residents.
