Construction is expected to start on Tinker Road in Colleyville Feb. 17 with the one eastbound lane being used for traffic during the week of Feb. 24.

What’s happening?

The westbound lane will be closed for the duration of construction from Ponderosa Lane to Caldwell Hughes Road, according to the city website.

The project will help fix drainage along Tinker Road from Emerald Drive to SH 26 and includes:
  • A new storm sewer system that ties into the Colleyville Boulevard storm sewer system
  • Replacement of water and wastewater lines
  • Installation of a 5-foot concrete sidewalk on the north side of the road
  • A new roadway section improving the ride quality of traffic
The construction is expected to take six to seven months to complete. The road closure is subject to change, Assistant City Manager Adrienne Lothery said.
