According to a news release, a total of 103,312 rides were taken on TEXRail during December, representing the highest ridership month in the service’s history and a 25% increase from December 2023.
Trinity Metro said 98% of trips were on time.

The background
In the fall of 2024, Trinity Metro announced simplified fares and increased service to every 30 minutes during the midday hours, according to previous reporting.
The Fort Worth Parade of Lights and many Christmas events in Grapevine were attributed to an increase in riders, as well, according to a news release.
