In a news release from Oct. 23, the Mascot, New South Wales, Australia-based airline will have its Airbus A380 service return to Sydney, Australia for the first time in five years. Flights to Sydney Airport will start Aug. 11.
In addition, Qantas will increase flights from DFW Airport to Melbourne Airport from three times a week to four times a week starting Feb. 6, according to the news release.
As part of an American Airlines–Qantas partnership, customers will be able to connect to more than 200 destinations across the United States and nearly 70 destinations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, according to the release.
