To allow for crews to perform corridor maintenance, TEXRail, Trinity Metro’s commuter rail service, will pause operations Tuesday, Nov. 14.

What you need to know

Crews will be working on the TEXRail corridor between Fort Worth and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. A Nov. 7 news release from Trinity Metro states trains will cease operations at 2:45 a.m. Operations are slated to resume Wednesday, Nov. 15.

“If all work is not completed on Nov. 14, TEXRail will resume partial service on Nov. 15 by running trains on the completed portion of the route and connecting with a bus to run the full length of the line,” the news release states.

During this period, airport travelers have the option to ride the TRE Link from the airport to CentrePort Station, where they can connect to Trinity Railway Express for service to Hust, Richland Hills and Fort Worth.

”If you have no other means of transportation to essential employment during this time, please call customer care at 817-215-8600 by 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9,” the release states. “Representatives will be able to help you with travel arrangements.”
