Trinity Metro named Reed Lanham the vice president of rail on Sept. 19.

For the past four years he has been the deputy vice president of rail for the TEXRail operations, which operates a train from downtown Fort Worth to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, going through North Richland Hills, Colleyville and Grapevine.

Lanham will oversee the quality, reliability and consistency of both TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express services, according to a news release. Lanham, who has 16 years of commuter rail experience, was chosen after a national search.

Prior to Trinity Metro, Lanham worked for the Fort Worth Transit Authority.
